A multi-phased project: Phase 1 was an interior renovation of an existing full bathroom on the first floor. Phase 2 was an interior renovation of an existing full bathroom with the construction of a dormer roof on the second floor.
Process:
This family home was well-loved and ready to have updated amenities in both bathrooms. The first floor bathroom serves the primary bedroom by offering a larger shower. The new design features mosaic tiles and a brighter material palette that maximizes the space visually.
For phase 2, our team was able to give the second floor bathroom some much needed head height. Busting open the existing roof to add a new dormer allowed for the design to frame a beautiful view over a new free-standing tub. The new volume also features a large shower with a built-in bench and plenty of head-height. The finishes for phase 2 followed suit from phase 1 for a cohesive design.
